Thanks for stopping by! Blogging is new for me and this is my very first post. I’ve decided to start a journey of learning and sharing and will post my experiments with card making here. I’ve been watching YouTube videos and following the blogs of other card makers who have inspired me to take my love of crafting up a notch. Hopefully, as time goes on, my skills will improve.
For this project, I tried my hand at an older watercoloring technique called Ink Smooshing – inspired by Therese at Altenew. While it didn’t turn out as planned, I salvaged a section of the watercolored paper and put together a card. I learned a few things about mixing colors in this process and need to keep working on this technique before I can claim success. These beautiful images are from the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Japanese Mum stamp set and the sentiment is from the Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set.
